Vacancy Details:-

Assistant Director (Cost) in Office of Chief Adviser Cost, Ministry of Finance
(UR-15, EWS-04, OBC-10, SC-05, ST-02,) (PwBD-02)

Assistant Cost Accounts Officer in Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines.

(UR-05, OBC-01, SC-01).

Age Limit-

35 years for URs,

38 years for OBCs 

40 years for SCs. and 

45 years for PwBDs.

Remuneration :-

Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7^th CPC.

Educational Qualification :-

Assistant Director (Cost) 

Mandatory Educational:

A qualification recognized for enrolment in the Register of Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

DESIRABLE:

i)   Degree from a recognized University.

ii)  Three years’ experience in Cost Accounting work

Note : 

CA Fresher is Eligible for  Assistant Director (Cost) 

Assistant Cost Accounts Officer 

Mandatory Educational:

B.Com degree of a recognized University.

Mandatory Experience:
Three years’ experience in Finance, Budget, Accounts and Audit from Government or Industrial Organisation.
 
DESIRABLE:
Passed final Examination from Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India (ICWA) or Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA) or Master of Business Administration (Finance) from recognised University or Institute

Selection Process :- 

Recruitment Test (RT) followed by Interview.

Test will be MCQ form (120 questions for 2 Hours)

Final Cutoff Weightage:  75:25 (Test : Interview)

Exam Syllabus:  

As per Previous recruitment, it was based on CA & CMA Syllabus for AD Cost.

UPSC will release official syllabus before examination.

Application Fee:

Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who  are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/-.

No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community.
